YOUR QUESTIONS

The details
that matter to you.

Straight answers about study, support and applying. Open a question below, or get in touch about your own circumstances.

Is Campus Bridge free to use?

Yes. Our recruitment and application assistance is free for students. We receive commission from partnered universities and colleges for successful enrolments. Tuition fees and other costs charged by a provider are separate. We help you explore our partner options; we do not compare every course in England.

Who can use the service?

We support adults aged 18–65 living in England who are British citizens or hold UK settled status or indefinite leave to remain. This is the scope of our service, not a rule that guarantees a university place or student finance. Providers and funding bodies assess their own details.

Do I only need to go to campus once a week?

Some listed courses combine one day on campus with one day online. This applies to the FdA courses and the Leicester business top-up. Independent study and assessments are additional. Other courses are in person, or change delivery after the foundation year. We confirm the final timetable before you apply; one campus day does not mean one total day of study.

Is Business Management blended from the foundation year?

For the four-year Birmingham Newman University Business Management route in Stepney Green, Bradford and Leicester, the supplied course list specifies an in-person foundation year. From Year 1, it lists one campus day and one online day. The foundation-year attendance frequency still needs to be confirmed.

What is the difference between a foundation year and an FdA?

A foundation year is an introductory year within the listed four-year degree route. An FdA is a separate two-year foundation degree. The listed FdA courses identify a BA top-up as a possible next step, subject to the receiving course’s course information and acceptance. The two routes are not interchangeable.

What is a top-up course?

A top-up is a route intended to build on relevant prior higher education study. Our supplied list includes one-year options in Edmonton Green, Digbeth and Leicester. Contact us for course information and further information. Confirm the precise award and course title; the Edmonton Green list does not specify a subject.

Where can I find the course information?

Our service supports adults aged 18–65 living in England. For further course information about your preferred course, please contact us.

Do you offer Level 3 study?

Yes, we also offer Level 3 study options. Contact us for further information.

Can I study while working or looking after family?

A blended route may be worth exploring, but the whole study commitment matters. Plan for campus teaching, online teaching, independent study, assessments and travel. Ask whether the online sessions are live and when they take place. Daytime, evening and weekend availability cannot be assumed from the word “blended”.

Which courses and locations are listed?

There are 20 course and campus combinations across Edmonton Green and Stepney Green in London; Digbeth and Edgbaston in Birmingham; Bradford; and Leicester. They cover business management, business management and sustainability, HRM, and allied health and social care, plus an Edmonton top-up whose subject needs confirmation.

When can I start?

The supplied list names September, January and May for the University of Staffordshire routes and New College Durham FdA routes. Birmingham Newman University routes list September and January. These are intake patterns, not confirmation of open places, dates or deadlines. We check the chosen campus and course before an application.

What do the university and college names mean?

Each course shows the institution named in the supplied programme list: University of Staffordshire, Birmingham Newman University or New College Durham. Ask us to confirm who teaches the course, who awards the qualification, the exact campus and your application route before you commit. A listed institution’s main campus is not necessarily your teaching location.

What government funding could help me study?

Eligible students can apply for government-backed Tuition Fee Loans towards approved course fees and Maintenance Loans towards living costs. A Maintenance Loan is paid to your bank account. Amounts depend on the course, start date and your circumstances. These are repayable loans, with interest and income-based repayment rules. Our application guidance is free.

Does being aged 18–65 mean I qualify for funding?

No. This age range describes who our service supports. Funding rules vary by type of support and start date, and age can affect eligibility. We cannot promise maintenance support or other finance to someone simply because they fall within our service age range.

Can you guarantee admission, progression or a job?

No. The institution decides admission and any progression offer. The listed next steps, such as a BA top-up, MBA or master’s course, are assessed separately. Employment and professional registration are separate matters; a course title does not guarantee a job or a regulated professional qualification.

Do you help overseas students or arrange visas?

Our service focuses on eligible adults already living in England. We do not offer overseas recruitment, visa applications or immigration advice.

What should I send in my first enquiry?

Your name, email, where you live, preferred course or subject, and a brief outline of your study background are enough to begin. Mention your preferred intake and any work or caring commitments that affect your timetable. Do not send passport scans, bank details or other sensitive documents through the initial enquiry form.

What happens after I contact you?

We review your enquiry and reply from the official Campus Bridge support address shown on this website. We may ask a few questions before checking course availability, course information and the application steps. Check your spam folder as well as your inbox. Any offer is made by the institution.

Do you help apply for the student loans too?

Yes. Campus Bridge helps prepare, complete and submit your student loan application with you, and guides follow-up. Our application support is free. You provide accurate information, review and approve your application, and complete any identity checks and personal declarations. Student Finance decides the funding.
